Every shark profile, company page, and analytics dashboard is built from structured data, not guesswork. We show deal amounts, equity percentages, investor breakdowns, and post-show outcomes where available.

Data Sources

On-air deal data

Pitch amounts, equity, deal terms, and shark panel lineups sourced from the Kaggle Shark Tank US dataset (CC0, public domain).

Post-show outcomes

Company status, deal closure, and revenue data enriched from sharktanktales.com, press coverage, and company reports.

Corrections

Deal amounts and closure statuses are fact-checked against primary sources. Deals that fell through during due diligence are flagged.

Not all data is equally reliable. We use a tiered confidence system:
